Eye Care Associates is located in the downtown York vicinity. We have 10 staff to assist you with your eye care needs. We provide a full line of optical frames and contact lenses. We offer a two-year warranty on eyeglasses and free trial contact lenses, volume purchase discounts on boxes of contact lenses and guaranteed contact lens fitting. We also offer multiple plan discounts.

Drs. Witte and Kant provide general Optometric services with a therapeutic license to treat eye diseases including red eye problems, foreign body removal, glaucoma and cataracts.



Dr. Donald Witte, O.D.

Graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1966. He began Practice in York, NE in 1968. He merged his practice and became partners with Dr. Richard Kant, O.D. in 1998. Dr. Witte has been a member of the York Chamber of Commerce, since 1968. He also serves on many other civil organizations and boards. Dr. Witte has been a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association since 1963.
 


Dr. Richard Kant

Graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a B.S. degree in Microbiology in 1976. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1981. He began practice in York and a satellite office in Central City, NE in September of 1981. He merged his York practice and became partners with Donald N. Witte in 1998.

Dr. Kant is a member of the York Chamber of Commerce and Central City Chamber of Commerce since 1981. He has been a member of the York Optimist Club since 1982. He has been a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association since 1978.
